I began the Mr-Ibanez Collection about 30 years ago. Most of the instuments were made at a time prior to the start of the collection. All instruments were selected for their rareity and condition. My focus was on collecting top of the line models, most with either block or vine inlay when available.
As with any type of collectible,

As with any type of collectible, the top of the line tends to maintain its value better than entry level pieces. I have decided to disperse the collection by offering the pieces shown on this site for sale.
With Vintage Ibanez, condition is everything. if you are thinking of buying someplace else, when you are comparing prices, make sure the other seller is fully disclosing the condition and originality of his product.
Most of these previously owned guitars were bought online and shipped in from all over the world. i cant tell you how many times that i was told that the guitar was in Mint Condition only to receive it and find out different. Many guitars were shipped back to sellers that didnt fully disclose the condition of the guitar.

My promise to you is that i will describe the guitar in great detail so that there are no surprises when you receive it. i have nothing to gain by purposely misleading customers.
many of my customers have commented that the guitar they received was better than expected, i cant promise you that, but i stand by full disclosure. Thats the way online guitar buying should be.
